I got this watch for my wife with a matte black silicon strap. Very unusual, because of the mixing of brown and black, but the dial is not a flat consistent chocolate color, but rather alternately a very dark and then lighter reddish chocolate brown, actually irridescent and changing according to the angle of the light. This gives it a bling factor, which I think makes it better for women. The watch is 43mm, or 1 3/16th inches, without the crown. That's fairly large on a man's wrist, and very big on a woman's wrist, but the large size on a woman's wrist is what makes it cool and a fashion statement. The detailing is excellent, the weight is heavy, the stainless steel case is thick, solid and polished. The case is a kind of rose/bronze color and very shiny. One of the coolest parts is the machined grid on the bezel, which adds a nice texture. The subdials are also slightly recessed, and they have a circular engraved pattern to them, but you can't really see that with the naked eye. Nonetheless, this pattern also gives the subdials an irridescent bling factor. I will say the black subdials on the chocolate face look especially good, but none of this is a flat masculine look that is suggested in the photos here. Everything is shiny and flashy. The markers are applied, raised, and painted white -- especially easy to read. Can't really comment on the metal bracelet, but the silicone strap is a flat matte color, black on the chocolate watch. It's the only part of the watch that's a little dull, but that's maybe a good thing, since the rest is pretty flashy. With the metal bracelet, you're going to get a high bling factor, great for women who want that, and maybe also for men who want pimp-style. Quick-set date feature is good. The markers and hands are luminescent if charged under bright light, but that doesn't last long. I checked the watch in the dark after one hour and the time was no longer visible. Maybe good for 30 or 40 minutes. Can't comment on the chrono features, as my wife and I never use them. One thing to watch out for is the mineral crystal, which can scratch. Wear for dress, not work or active wear. Overall, a very elegant looking watch in an unusual color that has a quality feel to it. One of Michael Kors better models, I think, but probably best for women. Certainly a good watch for the money.
